Application Engineering
Best fit: a product or technology exists, but the real application is uncertain.
I work between the customer problem and the manufacturer’s development team: application data, material/process requirements, constraints, tests, configuration and technical-economic fit.
Engineering & Development
Best fit: the solution itself still has to be developed.
Concept & Feasibility
Requirements, technology/patent landscape, alternative concepts, risks and recommended direction.
Prototype Definition
Architecture, components, interfaces, prototype scope, test plan and decision criteria.
Development Support
Iteration, troubleshooting, supplier dialogue and technical coordination through testing and implementation.
Technical Assessment
Best fit: you need an independent, technically defensible answer.
Field data, documentation and requirements are contrasted systematically. The result can be a gap assessment, technical recommendation, compliance-oriented review or decision paper.
Engagement model
Where the problem can be bounded, I prefer fixed-scope engineering sprints with a clear output rather than selling an undefined number of hours. Longer development work can follow once the first decision gate has been passed.
