Technical assessment — mixed municipal service fleet

Problem: assess a large mixed fleet of street-cleaning and waste-collection equipment against technical and contractual requirements.

Challenge: the relevant inspection criteria evolved while reviewing the equipment and documentation; the methodology had to learn without losing traceability.

Work: field data and photographic evidence, identification of deviations, document/requisite comparison, iterative inspection criteria and final technical reporting.

Value: an unfamiliar equipment domain was converted into a structured, defensible assessment.

Remote autonomous backup power

Problem: remote infrastructure often combines no grid connection, a small load and expensive service visits. Commercial low-power generators rarely provide the professional autonomous functions available at higher powers.

Work: concept development, commercial-generator modification for prototypes, 48 V range-extender testing, control architecture and application discovery.

Status: ongoing development and market validation.

Engineering support — research to prototype

Problem: support an engineering office on technical subjects outside its immediate in-house expertise.

Work: technology and patent research, market assessment, concept generation, feasibility work and prototype definition.

Learning: the same work becomes significantly more scalable when sold around a defined decision/output instead of billed purely by the hour.
